BENGALURU: Early stage investment fund LetsVenture will now enable pre-series A and series A, B deals, and has brought on board Farooq Oomerbhoy to lead the initiative.

Oomerbhoy, who cofounded early stage venture fund Orios Venture Partners, joins the company as partner, LetsVenture said in a statement.

LetsVenture - which has so far invested in 105 startups, raising $42 million in the last four years-will focus on bringing family offices and corporates on a private, curated and interpersonal platform under the LetsVenture brand, the company said, adding that this will allow the firm to co-invest with venture capitalists and funds leading Series A, B deals, while also sourcing and managing quality deal flow directly for family offices and corporates.

Oomerbhoy, who was also a founding representative of the Indian Angel Network's Mumbai Chapter, said, "Family offices and corporates have lacked a guided access to the venture asset class in the Indian ecosystem. We look to become the go-to platform for all venture investments for this category of investors, hand-holding them through the entire process, pre, during and post investment."

LetsVenture has been an early investor in multiple startups, including Innov8, a co-working space provider, social dating platform Aisle, and marketing automation startup Betaout, among others. The fund was cofounded by Shanti Mohan and Sanjay Jha.
