Targeting people in the age group of 18 to 35, most of Bitdle’s services will be free to access.
KOCHI: A group of technocrats and entrepreneurs from Kerala has formed a social digital assistance platform called Bitdle that brings together features of hybrid social networking, search engine, social shopping, data analytics, social service, entertainment etc.

According to the founders, the product is the result of seven years of R&D in IT labs across South India, Europe and Far East. "Its core competency will be social commitment and all data accumulated by Bitdle is processed only in each parent country and general data protection regulation will be strictly enforced as per the EU standards,’’ said S Abimanyu, managing director of the venture.

The application is both B2B abd B2C suitable for both vocational and recreational needs of individuals and businesses alike. The full version is being launched in India, EU and Far East.

Targeting people in the age group of 18 to 35, most of Bitdle’s services will be free to access. `` For instance a person’s medical history can be stored and accessed by doctors and partially by labs while biometric data can be used to find missing persons. Emergency support services like repairs of automobiles and appliances can also be accessed,’’ said Shaji A V, Director of Bitdle.

For businesses the application can be used for optimisation of costs, targeted marketing of products, targeted sourcing and human resources development. "Initially we aim at 1.16% market share in India,’’ Abimanyu said.
