BENGALURU: Global digital payments major PayPal has launched its first merchant facing app in India named PayPal for Business. The company is attempting to reach out to small business entities and freelancers through this product especially for their cross border businesses.

The app makes available to them computed sales insights, professional invoicing capabilities and scope to accept payments in multiple currencies from across the world.

“Our focus is to enable payments in a convenient and safe manner and help merchants and freelancers grow their business. The PayPal for Business app solves some of the most common problems faced by SMEs and freelancers. It empowers them to run their business seamlessly and goes beyond just processing payments,” said Narsi Subramanian, Director -Growth, PayPal India.

Among the multiple features, the app will allow merchants to track sales insights, invoicing, multi -currency balance and will also allow them to issue instant refunds.
