Bengaluru: Online insurance marketplace Policybazaar has started a new brand under its parent entity named Zphin to offer digital business and technology solutions and services to financial institutions globally. Leveraging Policybazaar’s experience in digital distribution and sales of insurance products, the entity will work on automating processes around sales, services, marketing for products across insurance and lending.

“We want to help financial brands with building their digital capabilities. We offer digital products and solutions across various channels of distribution like point of sale, bankled distribution model and tele-calling,” said Saurabh Tiwari, CEO, Zphin.

Tiwari, who is the founder of the initiative, is working with a 50-member team. He said he intends to scale up the team tentatively to 100 people by 2020, but it depends on how well they manage to scale up the products and client base. It will operate the business under the parent entity of the Policybazaar group Etech Aces Marketing and Consulting Solutions, which was founded by Yashish Dahiya. It has set an aim of crossing $20 million revenue by 2021. “We are also expanding to overseas destinations, including the Middle East, Singapore and Australia,” he said.
