Manthan Software appoints Manoj Agarwal as COO

Agarwal, the former chief transformation officer of Future Group, has been tasked to develop and direct the company’s strategies and teams towards revenue and growth objectives, the Bengaluru-headquartered company said in a press release.

BENGALURU: Manthan Software has appointed former chief transformation officer of Future Group, Manoj Agarwal, as its chief operating officer.

The Bengaluru-headquartered company said this appointment has set stage for its global expansion and growth in emerging technology areas. Agarwal would report to founder and chief executive officer of Manthan, Atul Jalan.

Agarwal has been tasked to develop and direct the company’s strategies and teams towards revenue and growth objectives, said the company in a press release.

Before this role, Agarwal spearhead many technology-enabled initiatives and driven organization-wide change management at Future Group. He worked for a decade in global companies like Procter & Gamble and Atos Origin in the US and he played key roles in business transformation and information technology.

He has more than 20 years of experience in technology, retail and consumer markets, said Manthan.

“We are now embarking on a new phase of significant growth and scale at Manthan, and with his deep experience and ability to lead change, Agarwal is ideally placed to work with me and our executive team,” Jalan was quoted saying in the release.

Agarwal said mathematics and data-science enabled solutions have been influencing decision-making and businesses would require to meaningfully connect dots in data to survive. “I am privileged to be part of the Manthan team, working alongside bright minds to create such experiences and solutions.”
