This year has been a mixed bag for India’s tech and startup sector. While Covid-19 accelerated the growth of edtech companies, businesses involved in the travel and hospitality industry bore the brunt of the pandemic.

Former Ola chief operating officer Arun Srinivas and IBM’s ex-managing director Karan Bajwa were among the key senior executives who landed new leadership roles.


Media veteran Uday Shankar, former Paytm Money MD and CEO Pravin Jadhav, and former Medlife cofounder and CEO were among the executives who became free agents.


And there’s still plenty of room at the top.
