GoAir flight takes off from Singapore a day after suffering 'tech issue'
A GoAir spokesperson said the flight G8 28 from Singapore to Bengaluru had an air turn back on priority shortly after take off, following a technical issue on Monday. "There were 158 passengers on board. The aircraft is currently being attended to by the GoAir engineering team," he added.

On November 1, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had told the airlines to replace the PW engines under both wings of 97 A320neo aircraft "at all costs" by January 31 or they would be grounded. The aviation regulator had also said "desperate measures" were required to "put things in order".

Vistara has been operating daily flights on the Delhi-Singapore and the Mumbai-Singapore routes since August 6 and August 7 respectively, using Boeing 737-800NG planes that were leased post the shutdown of Jet Airways in April this year. These planes can carry extra fuel and can fly one hour extra as compared to old A320neo planes.
