    Guar gum futures gain on spot demand

    Speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.

    • Speculators increased their positions driven by a firm trend at the spot market.

      On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for February delivery traded higher 0.18 per cent, or Rs 12, to Rs 6,224 per five quintal with an open interest of 4,555 lots.

      Guar seed for February contracts increased by Rs 10, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 3,931 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 33,875 lots.

      Guar gum contracts for February delivery traded higher by 0.71 per cent, or Rs 44, to Rs 6,264 per five quintal with an open interest of 18,720 lots.

      Guar seed contracts for February delivery was trading down by Rs 13, or 0.33 per cent, at Rs 3,903 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 34,630 lots.

      Guar gum contracts for February delivery traded higher 0.02 per cent, or R 1 to Rs 6,200 per five quintal with an open interest of 21,075 lots.

      Guar seed for February contracts increased by Rs 7, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 3,928 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 35,495 lots.

      Guar gum contracts for February delivery traded higher 0.52 per cent, or Rs 32, to Rs 6,208 per five quintal with an open interest of 22,135 lots.

      Guar seed for February contracts increased by Rs 23, or 0.59 per cent, to Rs 3,901 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 38,850 lots.

      Guar gum contracts for February delivery traded higher 0.51 per cent, or Rs 31, to Rs 6,140 per five quintal with an open interest of 24,140 lots.

      Guar seed contracts for February delivery was trading at Rs 3,908 down by Rs 17, or 0.43 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 46,485 lots.

      Guar gum for February delivery eased by Rs 59, or 0.95 per cent, to Rs 6,137 per five quintal in 35,985 lots.
