Kashmir economy suffered losses of Rs 15000 cr since August: Trade body

The Kashmiri political leaders including Farooq Abdulalh, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti who have been under detention since August 5 might be released sooner and may be allowed to move out of the valley on health grounds, the government officials said. Finance Commission likely to get extension for working on devolution to UTs of J&K, Ladakh
According to the Act, the distribution of taxes suggested by the 15th Finance Commission to the state of Jammu and Kashmir will have to be apportioned to the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh. R K Mathur sworn in as Ladakh LG
