"Let us not create a fear psychosis among people," the minister told the House. Several studies conducted by renowned think tanks and they have blamed pollution for causing deaths in the country.

In response to a question in the Lok Sabha, Irani presented the data according to which Madhya Pradesh was followed by West Bengal with 47,744 such children and Gujarat (43,658). The details of missing children were reported on web portals TrackChild and 'Khoya-Paya' which are used to track them.
No plans to issue single card for all utilities: Govt tells Lok Sabha
Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, however, said the government has proposed to prepare and update the National Population Register from April 1, 2020, to September 30, 2020, along with the first phase of Census 2021.
