NIA takes over probe against Davinder Singh, Hizbul terrorists
An NIA spokesperson said that it has re-registered the case against Singh and the three terrorists, who were arrested along with arms and ammunition while travelling in a car. Earlier, a team of NIA officials, including an Inspector General rank official, reached Srinagar and collected all the information from police in Jammu and Srinagar.
Davinder Singh’s B’desh, Nepal contacts under probe
Davinder Singh’s visits to Bangladesh is also under the scanner. As per him, the trips were related to his daughter’s admission to a Bangladesh university. Investigations into his visits will help unravel the names of person he met, NIA officials said, adding that Singh will be brought to Delhi in the next few days for a detailed questioning.
