Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express flagged off today
This is the IRCTC's second premium train after the inaugural Tejas Express which operates between Delhi and Lucknow. The regular commercial run of the train will begin on January 19 from Ahmedabad, the Railways said.

The train was flagged off by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani from Ahmedabad at 10.45 am, and it arrived at Mumbai Central station at 4.45 pm, almost half an hour before its scheduled travel time. As per the train tickets, it was to depart from Ahmedabad at 9.30 am for its maiden run.

Western Railway to change train timings to accommodate Tejas Express
