Special security officers to hold census in sensitive areas
Special charge officers will be selected from the ranks of army and paramilitary forces and imparted training for conducting the 2021 census. For population enumeration in areas such as cantonment board and residential colonies of paramilitary personnel, census commissioner will record it as a “service” and not give other details owing to security concerns.
