Maharashtra, Delhi given maximum Ventilators Procured from PM-CARES fund
The PM CARES Fund Trust has allocated Rs 2000 crore for supply of 50000 ‘Made-in-India’ ventilators to government-run COVID hospitals in all States and UTs and Rs 1000 crore was allocated for the welfare of migrant labourers. So far 2,923 ventilators have been manufactured, out of which 1340 ventilators have already been delivered to the States and UTs.

The new fund has been opened up for donations from abroad after it was exempted from the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act. Donors will be able to download donation receipts directly from the PM-CARES portal itself, ET has learned.
