As per the data released by the Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, rice exports fell 40 per cent year-on-year to 2.81 million tonnes in the seven months to October 2019. In value, non-basmati rice exports were lower by 36 per cent at Rs 8,013 crore.
