UK’s Triumph Motorcycles retail sales up 10% in India
While the slowdown hasn’t shown a significant impact on Triumph's sales, weak consumer sentiment did result in the motorcycle maker deferring its dealership expansion plan by six months. The company plans to have 20 dealerships in the country in the next 18 months. It has identified Guwahati, Goa and two unspecified locations in the northeast and the south for the upcoming dealerships.

TVS Motor sales down over 16 pc at 2.66 lakh units in November
TVS Motor Company on Monday reported 16.64% decline in total sales in November at 2,66,582 units. The company, which primarily makes two-wheelers and three-wheelers, had sold 3,19,965 units in the same month last year. Total two-wheeler sales during the month stood at 2,49,350 units as against 3,07,142 units in November 2018, down 18.81%.
Toyota India car sales dip 22% in November
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported a 22 per cent annual decline in November from 10,721 units last year. Exports, especially the Etios model, however, grew 39 per cent annually. As a result, total sales for the month under review declined 19 per cent year-on-year to 9,241 units from 11,390 units in November 2018.
