An investigation by the Competition Commission of India, which began in 2017, has concluded that Tata Steel, SKF & Schaeffler colluded on pricing of bearing. India's bearings market is worth $1.3 billion, according to ICRA Research. CCI can fine firms up to three times the profit made in each year of wrongdoing or 10% of revenue, whichever is higher.
India gifts patrol vessel to Maldives as net security provider of region
The brand-new vessel will be manned by eight Maldives personnel trained in India and will be an asset for the Maldives in enhancing its maritime security, fostering its blue economy and safeguarding its tourism industry. India is a key supplier of defence equipment to the Maldives and also trains its military personnel.
