Cipla reported an FCF of around Rs 3,400 crore in 2019-20 and is expected to report bigger numbers in the coming years due to increased growth rates and cost savings due to domestic synergies. This has made the company a favourite of analysts.
Cipla, the domestic market leader in respiratory and urology segments, did well during the second quarter of 2020-21. It reported y-o-y revenue and adjusted net profit growth of 15% and 41% respectively in this time period. Cipla has eight medicine brands amongst top 100 domestic brands and 22 among top 300 brands.
