Amazon Summer Sale: Steep discounts on One Plus 6T, iPhone X

Amazon is offering ‘Amazon App Jackpot’ in which customers will have to download its mobile app and they will get the chance to win prizes worth over Rs 5 lakh

E-commerce giant Amazon India kickstarts the ‘Amazon Summer Sale’ from May 4-7, but if you are a Prime member, you will get the early access to the sale which will begin from Friday 12 pm. The much-awaited sale boasts of steep discounts on fashion, home appliances, top-branded gadgets, home decor and smartphones including One Plus 6T and iPhone X.

The Amazon Summer Sale offers up to 40% discount on mobiles and accessories. The e-commerce platform has been teasing customers by giving deals in their “offers you can’t resist”, which include some of the premium smartphones such as One Plus 6T (8+128 GB) seeing a prie drop of Rs 9000 to Rs 32,999 and iPhoneX at Rs 69,999.

The sale is also claiming to offer the “lowest price ever” on budget-friendly smartphones. This include Mi A2 (12+20 MP) at Rs 10,999, Redmi Y2 (4+64 GB, 16 MP AI Selfie) at Rs 9,999 and Redmi 6 Pro at Rs 9,999.

Amazon is also offering discounts on a range of ‘just launched’ smartphones. Some of these are- Honor 10 Lite (3+32 GB) at Rs 10,999, Realme U1 (3+32 GB, 25 MP AI camera) at Rs 8,999, Xolo ZX at Rs 10,499, Samsung Galaxy M30, and Redmi 7, among others.

Amazon has revealed the deals on top branded gadgets for the sale offering heavy discounts on products like Canon M100 dual lens mirrorless camera at Rs 38,990, Sony SRS-XB30 speakers at Rs 5,999 and Dell i3 8th gen Ubuntu laptop at Rs 27,990.

Overall, customers can avail up to 55% on electronics and accessories such as earphones, Bluetooth speakers, memory cards, pen drives, and musical instruments and others.

Gaming accessories will be sold starting from Rs 399, iPad and Mac accessories from Rs 499, Hard drives from Rs 3,499, Honor Watch Magic from Rs 11,999, Mouse and Keyboard from Rs 99 and HP Sprocket Photo Printer at Rs 2,999, among many others.

Customers can avail up to Rs 4,600 off on Amazon smart devices such as Amazon Kindle, Amazon Echo, and Fire TV stick.

Another top category of the sale includes an up to 80% on fashion including bags, watches, fashion jewelry and footwear. Amazon offers up to 70% on Lavie bags and 75% on fashion jewelry from Forever 21.

There’s also a whole range of pocket-friendly fashion items in which customers can avail footwear, sarees, watches, backpacks, t-shirts at Rs 299 to Rs 799.

Amazon boasts of up to 60% discounts on some of the top-selected clothing and footwear brands such as United Colors of Benetton, Levi’s, Vero Moda, Puma, Woodland, Bata, U.S. Polo Assn, Biba, Mothercare, Sparx, Red Tape, and many others.

There’s an offer of up to 70% discount on books and entertainment, up to 60% on home appliances such as coolers, air conditioners, TVs, and washing machine, up to 75% discount on kitchen and dining and up to 60% discount on furniture.

On leisure services like movies, recharge, food, customers can get up to Rs 2,400 off on using services from Amazon-partnered companies- Swiggy,,, BookMyShow, and others.

Payment options have also been made easier as Amazon offers a No Cost EMI for credit cards on orders above Rs 3,000 and No Cost EMI on Bajaj Finserv EMI cards for orders above Rs 4,500. Keep in mind that the No Cost EMI option is available at selected products only.

Further, Amazon has partnered with SBI and RuPay and customers can get an instant 10% discount using either of the cards. Customers can participate in ‘Amazon App Jackpot’ in which they will have to download its mobile app and will get the chance to win prizes worth over Rs 5 lakh. Six winners will emerge out of the contest.
