In the US market on Friday, the S&P 500 closed higher after swinging between gains and losses as investors weighed worries about Sino-US trade relations.
Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 34.50 points or 0.38 per cent lower at 9,090 on Monday, indicating a negative start for Dalal Street. Here are a few stocks which may create some buzz in Monday’s trade:

Banking stocks: To further enhance ease of doing business, minimum threshold to initiate insolvency proceedings were raised to Rs 1 crore from Rs 1 lakh earlier by the FM in the fifth and last tranche of the second round of stimulus package. Sitharaman also announced suspension of fresh initiation of insolvency proceedings of up to one year, depending upon the pandemic situation.

Reliance Industries: General Atlantic invested Rs 6,598.38 crore in Jio Platforms for 1.34 per cent in the company. With this investment, Jio Platforms has raised Rs 67,194.75 crore from Facebook, Silver Lake, Vista Equity Partners and General Atlantic in less than four weeks.

Bharti Airtel, Torrent Pharma: Astrazeneca Pharma, GSK Pharma, Bharti Airtel, Torrent Pharma, Delta Corp, Dr Lal Pathlabs, Monnet Ispat are among a few companies which will announce their March quarter results on Monday.

Sterling & Wilson Solar: Leading solar power generation company Sterling & Wilson Solar (SWSL) has bagged its largest EPC contract from Australia worth over AUD 615 million (over Rs 3,000 crore), including an AUD 85 million worth of operation and maintenance contract for 20 years.

RBL Bank: The bank, which derives 18 per cent of its loan portfolio from credit cards, is expecting new plastic issuances to halve and a fall in spends as well in FY21, but is confident of the overall revenues from the segment remaining intact, a senior official has said

Larsen & Toubro, Bharat Forge, Bharat Electronics: The increase in the FDI limit in defence sector to 74 per cent is a big long-term positive for these companies.

Coal India: Finance Minister announced commercialisation of coal on Saturday, implying the monopoly of Coal India will be over. Nearly 50 coal blocks will be offered immediately.

Delta Corp, Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals, Dr Lal Pathlabs: These companies are slated to announce their March quarter earnings on Monday.

Cipla: Pharmaceutical major Cipla missed Street estimates and reported a 33.32 per cent year-on-year (YoY) drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 238.49 crore for the March quarter.

Tata Motors: Tata Motors said it is planning to raise Rs 1,000 crore through issuance of securities. The company is desirous of offering rated, listed, secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) aggregating Rs 1,000 crore.

Nippon Life India Asset Management: Nippon Life India Asset Management Company (formerly Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management) on Friday posted a sharp drop of 97.6 per cent in net profit at Rs 3.72 crore.
